Form15 g

As I understand there is no such due date for submission of 15G. If we consider example of bank, ie. if form 15G is given to a bank for non-deduction of TDS on interest on deposits, in that case, it can be given

1) In case of existing deposits, at the beginning of the FY

2) In case of fresh deposit (opened during the FY), form can be submitted at the time or just after opening the deposit a/c to avoid tax deduction.

If form is not given to bank before the interest is credited, bank would deduct TDS wherever threshold limit exceeds.
