my principal's membership number is also 5 digit. But it is true. It may be possible that he is old member.So i dont see any worry in this. just confirm the number from member.

Jus add '0' before the 5 digit number and u can find it out.

say 012345.

if the membership number of a member of ICAI is only of 5 digits.  U need to add a "0" b4 the membership number to make it a six digit number.
