Form ct-1
we are having Trading Plant and registered under Central Excise as a Dealer. one of the our customer is ready to give CT-1 and we have provided the Excise details for getting the CT-1 from their range. Now their superintendent refuse to issue the CT-1 and mentioned reason CT-1 can not issue to the dealers. My doubt - Whether CT-1 can issue to the registered dealers by Excise Department ? if not why?

1.There is no provision to issue CT-1 to dealer.
2. CT-1 to be issued to Manufacturer of the excise goods only. Manufacturer is the responsible person for all duty liabilities on merchant export.
