FORM 26QB - Query

Hi

Inside Form 26QB, there is a mandatory field "Date of Tax Deduction*". The question is:

Installments paid but Tax has not been deducted. TDS adjustments will be made during final possession.

So what should I enter?

Roy

Quick Summary
This discussion revolves around a query regarding the 'Date of Tax Deduction' field in Form 26QB. The user is unsure what to enter when installments have been paid but Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) hasn't been deducted yet, with adjustments planned for final possession. Another user briefly mentions that the date of tax deduction should be the date of payment, but the original poster clarifies that TDS has not been deducted at all. A separate, unrelated query about filing exempt income in ITR1 is also included.

Date of tax deduction should be the date of payment

Hi

Thanks a lot for your reply. But in case TDS has not been deducted at all...still Date of Tax deduction will be date of payment?

Sir, With due respect I beg to state through this query that I am a Senior Citizen, and I am unable to submit my ITR1, AY2020-21, online e-filling due to Trouble Shooting about Filling of Exempt Income of Rs 3,18,814/-, as Interest of P.P.F Account likewise earlier practice, but it is not being taken into account by the system of e-filling online in this time, and this amount of Rs.3,18,314/- is being disappeared/deleted after my entering at the place, & screen says/responses, as""Please enter a numeric value"? What will be the numeric value of Rs.3,18,814/-at this stage? What is wanted by the e-filling system online at this stage? What is this Question at this stage? You may kindly like to see, & decide it accordingly, at the earliest, sothat my Saved Draft of ITR-1, AY2020-21, can be submitted before due date of filling.
