form 16A download .... from NSDL-problems being faced......?

i got e-mail attachment from NSDL site . The file is a zip file. I was advised to download using PDF File.

I could not understand.

Secondly, the message contains the following instruction:

"To extract the contents of attached zip file please enter 12 digit TAN registration number."

I do not know where to enter the TAN No.

please advise.

For extracting form 16 A zip file, you need to have 12 digit TAN Registration Number

This mean at the time of TAN registration, one must have received

email from NSDL containing TAN registration file and first password

for opening this file they must have provided you 12 digit TAN registration number

copy this and paste the same as password for extracting zip file to your

computer and desired location
