Form 16a(bank tds) not done & received

I'm going to file my returns for the financial year 2013-14 in a day or two.

However, I didn't receive any communication from my bank for Form 16A for my interest and my interest is above Rs.10K. But for last financial year I received one from them.

I talked to the customer relationship people at bank and came to know that TDS is not yet done.

Quickly I checked my Form26AS and I do NOT see and entries from my bank unlike the Form26AS of last financial year.

Hence, I've the below questions.

Can I download the interest cetificate, calulate and pay the tax?

If then what will happen when my bank does the TDS ?

Else, Can I file my returns as the Form 26AS (TIN repository) is not aware of this as of now?

Please let me know what shall I do.

Thanks in Advance!

Vicky

best suggestion in your case is that you include this intt income in your itr, pay tax accordingly and file return within due date. later when tds from bank is reflected in your 26as then revise your return and claim refund of tds deducted.... for revising return dont forget to file original return within due date.

you should follow the 26as if you have some fixed deposite then you should included interest on fd as income on your estimate and other wise if you have not any fd then interest on saving accounts taken as income and after get deduction 80tta up to 10000/-

thanx

You can file return by taking actual interest amount.
