Due to unforseen circumstances, we are able to file form 10 B only after due date ie. After 31st Oct.

What are the consequences of this late filing of Form 10B?

Note: ITR filing would be within due date 30-11-23.

Form 10B is typically associated with the filing of the audit report for income tax purposes. While I can provide general information, it's important to note that tax regulations can vary by jurisdiction, and specific details can depend on the tax laws of your country. Therefore, it's advisable to consult with a tax professional or accountant who is familiar with the tax laws in your jurisdiction for accurate and personalized advice.

In many jurisdictions, filing Form 10B after the due date may result in consequences such as:

  1. Penalties: Late filing of audit reports may attract penalties under tax regulations. The amount of the penalty can vary and is often calculated based on factors such as the time of delay and the taxpayer's income.

  2. Loss of Deductions or Benefits: Some jurisdictions may restrict certain deductions or benefits if the audit report is not filed within the stipulated time frame.
