For new Unit setup - Registration

Dear All,

Our company existing unit is in Noida (U.P). We are going to setup a  new unit in Tronica City (loni) , which is also in U.P. Now construction of unit is started. Production is to be started from April or May 2008. Now I want to know that what is procedure to be followed for Excise & Sales Tax Registration.

Whether we have to register in Excise today itself or after the production started.

Whether we have to register in Sales tax as a new unit otherwise we have to amend our old registration certificate by addition of unit.

Please help asap. and tell me procedure & documents required for it.
