I had borrowed 1 lacs RS. to Hemant shah. after 1 years, he gave me cheque in 2013. my case his continue by 138.
when my cheque returned, he had close his bank account. why bank has not taken unused cheque from him? please guide me abovemention.

thus for cheques which are not issued to a customer are valid till they are condemned for some reason by the bank; The law of limitation does not apply to unissued cheques (in banks stationery) or cheques unused by the customer; ... The validity period of cheques and demand drafts in India is three months at present.
