Dear All,
Let us say ABC is at a salary of Rs. 65,000/- p.m., we show Rs. 2500/- as Food Coupons as a part of his CTC in his appointment letter.
But tax exemption limit is 1350/-
can i wil issue the food coupons for the month of Rs.2500 or Rs.1350. Please suggest me!!!!!!!!

Obviously u hv to issue food coupons of 2500 as per contract with employee. Amount over and above exemption will be tavable on him. If he doesnt want to pay tax on the diff then he can waive the balance amount
