First attempt at ca exam

Dear all

I am applied for IPCC exam to be held in Nov 2011 for first time. But now due to some reason, I am not appearing in the any paper in this exam and will appear in the IPCC exam in May 2012.

1. Will the Nov -2011 exam will be counted as my first attempt ?

2. As I will miss the nov exam for passing IPCC,  But if  I will pass IPCC exam in May 2012, will this be considered as passing in first attempt or not?

Thanks

Yes it will counted as your attempt.....

counting of attempt is on due basis...

so, no matter you give your exams in may 12 nd will pass it, nov 11 will be considered your first.

Thanku I had the same query but does attemp matter in ca? I mean to get jobs?

yes........ passing the exam in first attept realy des matter in CA, to get jobs or articleship.

mostly, campus placements are based on this criteria.

so, first try for that!

and somehow if you are not able to clear in first attempt, you must have some good approaches to stay ahead in dis competitive world.

if you are not sure of passing in nov 12 for any reason, please try for exemption in any subject but dont waste this attempt.. it will cost you in future, for sure.
