Following forms are used for firm registration:

Form A: For applying for new firm registration.

Form E; For applying for change in the constitution of the firm.

Form B: For applying for change in name or nature of the business of the firm.

1. Fill up relevant form.

2. Affix 3 Rs. Court Fee Stamps on the Form.

3. Attach the partnership deed / change in the constitution of the partnership deed.

4. attach a self addressed envelope with the post ticket of Rs. 5.

5. Go to your Registrar of firms and pay prescribed fees for registration.

6. If you also want a firm registration certificate, then you have to attach a stamp paper of Rs. 100 with the application.

7. The relevant form i.e. Form A/B/E shall be signed by the practising CA or the lawyer in all cases.
