PLZ answer this....
in sec 91 when we calculate rebate... then while calculating average rate of tax...do we have to deduct th rebate of rs.2000 u/s 87A from th tax payble.... nd thn calclulate th rebate u/s 91 (for foreign income)
or both th rebates r independent of each other. ?????
Q. foreign income 1lac. taxed in foreign @ 20% .

option (a) - 91 ki relief calc krne k lye tax me se 87A ki relief phle deduct dege kya? ie 6800-2000= 4800 +3% =4944 /368000*100000 =1343
.
or
option (b) - 300000+100000 =400000-32000 =368000 tax = 7004 sec91= 7004/368000*100000 =1903 rebate
.
plz reply answer option a or b ?
