I cleared in MAY 10, I WOULD STONGLY SUGGEST YOU THAT DONT REFER ANY BOOK...STICK TO COMPILER, GIVE IT 2-3 REVISIONS, U WILL CUM OUT WITH REALLY GUD MARKS IN AUDIT.....COZ AUDIT IS THE ONLY SUBJECT VER U GET REPITITIVE QUESTIONS OF LAST YEAR.....yes but do the compiler thoroughly...ALL THE BEST..

What is the book recommended by ICAI for CA-Final... for Auditing

I mean like for Taxation , book recommended by ICAI is TN manoharan... 

so, wat is ICAI recommendation for 1.) Auditing,

2.) Advanced management Accountancy and Indirect Taxes

Agreed with DIVYA PINCHA , complier is gud for audit subject.

go for padukas coz it has questions from past exams ,RTP's and also from material apart from it's own.from exam point of view it's very good.

I think that for important chapters such as tose given below Padhuka is essential:

1. Professional Ethics

2. Company Audit

3. Audit Report & CARO,

For other topics Surbhi Bansal will suffice

For SA u may refer Vinod Agarwal's book or Surbhi Bansal (comparatively much shorter & precise )

And dont forget to go through the compliation or the practice manual.
