Yes. Filling only relevant columns you have to file the income tax return (in case no trading). I guess there would be pre-operative / preliminary exp.
Yes, Company Must be file the Income tax return because it held a status of company in the previous year 2011-12.
Company must file income tax return and also cover under audit as per companies act 1956.
