Filing of tax return

While filing tax return under TDS section, if I put just TAN , amount and the year which is as per Form 26AS, will the return be vaild ?

For some reason, Form 26AS, does not have unique certificate ID, which makes it hard to file without Form 16A.

Couple of years back unique certificate was not insisted on ?

Is it possible for me to download Form 16A issued by deductors with my data from a database like Traces?

DEDUCTEE CANT DOWNLOAD FORM 16A ONLY DEDUCTOR CAN BY LOGIN TO TRACES . FOR DEDUCTEE THE ONLY WAY LEFYT IS FORM 26 AS AND WHILE FILING ITR UNDER TDS SECTION THEY CAN PUT TAN , NAME OF DEDUCTOR , TDS DEDUCTED AND AMOUNT OF TDS CLAIMED IN ITR.

Hi,

During some discussion fourm, there are different openion on filing return (ITR 1 or ITR 2) as all of us are paying tax more than 5000 INR and some of the people refering new rule forcing ITR 2 for persons paying tax more than 5000.

Kindly clarify the rule and suggest which retun to be filed.
