FILING OF HUF RETURNS ON NEW PORTAL

Yes, I have filed HUF return. Try it for 2-3 days, you will be able to upload it. 

Have been trying since several days Pls let me know a few things

1. Whose login to use Karta or HUF 2. Whether in HUF profile Karta needs to authorised to e verify 3 Whether in ITR 2 Karta details to be entered as representative filer and it so in what category 4. Whose PAn and in what capacity to add in the verification section WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL IF U COULD GUIDE IN THIS MATTER AM TIRED IF THE NEW PORTAL AND NO REPLY IS BEING DOR GREIVANCES

In my view wait for few days. As Acknowledgement are not being downloaded due to software error

point-wise reply:

1. Whose login to use Karta or HUF- Use login of HUF to efile the return

2. Whether in HUF profile Karta needs to authorised to e verify - Yes, not only that add him as key person giving his pan details( in profile)

3 Whether in ITR 2 Karta details to be entered as representative filer and it so in what category- As you have already authorized karta to file, I dont think you need to do that again. But if u wish u can add him under "others" category

 4. Whose PAn and in what capacity to add in the verification section - In verification part, please enter the name, father‘s name and PAN of the person who is filing the return. In such cases however permanent account number of the authorised person is required to be mentioned in verification and capacity has to be mentioned as per the drop down provided. In case of HUF, return of income can be verified by the Karta of HUF. In case Karta is absent from India, or is mentally incapacitated, the return can be verified by any other adult member of the family.

No I have not been able to file at all

Same here Rajan. Not sure of any other option but to wait and keep trying. Will let you know I  it works for me and you do the same.

Request Puja to guide for any other possible error we are making.

Today it is working. They have removed the glitches.

For HUF, 

Make sure you have added Karta's details in Key persons as told in previous reply.

click "NO" for "Representative Assessee" in General tab

In verification tab, fill in Karta's details, sign in capacity of "KARTA" by selecting from drop down.  (Also click the tick) 

Still not workig in our case Should one select online or offline mode? Is ITR2 working? Is it allowing to select option u/s 115BAC? Would appreciate reply from you'll. Thanks.

                 Can you revert whether one should use the online mode or offline mode? Also is it allowing to select option u/s 115BAC for ITR2? It is not allowing in our case

Incidentally we are still getting logging in error - saying something went wrong please try later - any clues as to why this is coming and how to remove the glitch?
