Fee for default in furnishing return of income (section 234F). I am using ITR-2 to file my taxes today January 4th. When the form is filled completely and taxes are being calculated it is levying Rs 10,000 as penalty for "Fee for default in furnishing return of income (section 234F)" though the deadline for filing has been extended to January 10, 2021. Is this correct? Can I manually override that entry and make it "zero"? Can someone please help shed some light on this? Thanks.

Income tax department has already updated utility you can also use that
Download new utility and file again
Thank you all. Downloaded the utility again and it works like a charm now. Appreciate all the help.
Download latest utility from e-filing. it's amended. Any other software then make it zero manually.
