There is a big confusion for me as to many say lot of things about HRA and Interest on Home Loan claims for tax exemption when we are in Same City ?
What are the taxman rules on availing tax exemption on HRA and Homeloan Interest?
If we are in same city, i heard from the auditor (who works for the company I work) that we cannot claim both, only one.Is it? Please tell me clearly dear CAs.
I am staying near office location (3kms only) and the flat I bought is 25-30Kms away from my office/home.
