The Company has hold Extra ordinary general meeting on 23.04.2010 ( notice dated 25.03.2010)
Now the Company wants to hold another EGM meeting on 29.04.2010 and notice of 21 clear days has already been given to members.
Can the Company hold meeting on 29.04.2010. please reply
why not , der isn't any restriction on the number of EGM . u can proceed on the EGM on 29.04.10

YES COMPANY CAN CONVENE THE EGM AT ANY TIME IRRESPECTIVE OF THE PREVIOUS EGM HELD AS BECAUSE EGM ITSELF STANDS FOR AN URGENT MATTER WHICH CAN OCCUR UNCERTAINLY AND SHOULD BE RESOLVED AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.
BUT I THINK COMPANY SHOULD TAKE CONSENT OF ALL THE MEMBERS TO CONVENE EGM AT SUCH SHORT NOTICE
Yes, co can hold any no of EGMs after duly complying with the provisions for holding the meeting.
