Export to nepal

My client is a Delhi based Company and having IEC Code.  It purchased goods from local dealers (Hardware, machinery etc.) and want to Export to Nepal by Road. My question is :

It have to charge any excise duty on sale bill or not? (Dealers not charged Excise duty on his Bills).

What Documents required to complete this transaction (ARE-1 etc).

We have to give any information/filing etc to our Excise Office regarding this transaction?

Kindly reply.

Excise duty and ARE1 documents are to be maintained from manufacturing point, if goods re procured from market then deemed to  be duty paid,

no need to export under Excise obligations, but produce the bills of procurement at the customs point, for clearance purpose.

on one side you have said that goods have been procured from open market, and on other side you mentioned that you probably registered as you mentioned that you have juridictional range officer. keep a alert tab on the point, if the goods to be exported are identical or similer in nature of your products, then department would initiate that these are manufactured products subject to duty payment

Sharma ji,

Thanks for reply.

My client is registered in Excise Department as Dealer of Excisable goods.  They have purchase goods from local dealers (not from manufacturers) and these invoices not contained Excise duty details. It seems the goods are duty paid.

We have to file any document with excise department in this regard?

nope,

when excise duty is not involved in transaction, keep the department out of this trasaction

Agreed with Sharma ji,

When your not at all a manufacturer of goods, how can you charge excise duty on such transaction?

No implications under Central Excise
