Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies that you can export goods from a West Bengal port even if your GST registration is in Maharashtra. The key is to treat it as an inter-state sale. You can arrange for goods purchased in West Bengal to be directly shipped from a West Bengal port for export, utilising the 'Bill to, Ship To' model. Ensure your e-way bill is generated correctly from Maharashtra, specifying West Bengal as the place of despatch and the export terminal as the delivery location.
Sirji, Purchase from West Bengal and delivered same state port, but not registered GSTN in West Bengal then I can do export at West Bengal port. please guide me.
If u r unregd person in Maharashtra, but export from w Bangal,
U may generate an Ewbill from place of Maharashtra. but u follow some points b notice, Place of despatch is W Bangal Delivery place is Terminal for Export Part B of Ewb may b entered by registered transport agency under gst. Invoice must b coverd all details of importer, which may certified by customs clearance agent in the terminal.
Jha ji 1. You are registered in Maharashtra 2. purchase is done from West Bengal. 3. Now the purchase goods need to be delivered in West Bengal only or the port of West Bengal for export , in both the condition you can do so. No need to bring the goods to Maharashtra ,by following the model of "Bill to , Ship To " you can do so.
