Sir,

We are export the pharmaceutical products .We are also sending the free samples (free of cost) with sale goods. Is required to pay excise duty on free sample?

Sir, We are export Free Sample alongwith sale goods which mfg.ed by us only. We are clearing the goods preparing ARE 1 without payment of duty.

Dear The material is cleared under rule 19 of central excise rule as duty free sample. Hence the material will be cleared as samle and with mentioning the country name and it is also reuired to submit the proof of excport i.e. shipping bill and bill of lading.l Regards Ajay garg
