as per Material Delivery note Steel received on site on 3 Apl`08 but bill was dated at 28 Mar.`08.Is there any problem to book the expenses under 31 Mar`08. i m little bil confused

no confusion the expenses can be booked on 31st itself
no need to book expences on 31st march bcz you have not received goods on 31st march.
But if you want to book exp. on 31st march than you can book & show the stock as stock in transit
No, Problem if it is Raw Material. Show also in Closing Stock as Material in Transit
Book it before March 31st itself.
