Expected salary for a ca

Considering the current market scenario is a package of Rs 4.5 lakhs ( all inclusive)  offered by an investment bank for the position of a Analyst, sufficient or a bit low ??

Kindly provide your suggestions and views on expected salary for a CA who is entering the investment banking field into trade finance as a fresher ??

Sorry CA Abhishek Jain , naming the firm on a public platform may become a compliance issue. So keeping the name aside , do you think its a fair package for a fresher analyst to begin a career with such a low amount ??Also it is not for a equity reasearch analyst but a finance analyst....don't you feel that companies overally are trying to squeeze at the mionimum level to get CA's ?? but then what is the option left with us.If We don't accept a offer , another CA may accept it.So the question  is what should be the ideal minimum for a fresh Ca considering slack in global markets and reducing demand for CA's.This question is for all the members of this forum.

About 2 years ago the average salary for fresher CA was expected to be between 5 to 6 lacs but now the market has gone down from last 6 months and average salary has come down to 4 to 5 lacs.

So the salary offered to you is not low..you may take this offer work for 2 years and move to another company for the big jump.ATB
