Exemption limit
Current Central Excise exemption limit for a manufacturer is 1.5 Crore Rs. for a Financial Year. Should resale of Raw Material inputs be excluded in calculating the 1.5 crore threshold?

For SSI exemption sale of only manufactured goods are counted.
Yes I agree with Mr. Sinha. The value of goods manufactured and cleared are to be recokned for calculating the exemption limit
