Exemption during conversion from old syllabus to new syllabus

I have cleared Costing/FM subject in Old Syllabus with 51 marks.

Now that new syllabus has FM subject in group 2, do i need to give FM subject exam again or will it be exempt for me?

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies exemption rules when transitioning from an old to a new syllabus, specifically for the Costing/FM subject. A score of 51 in the old syllabus's Costing/FM does not grant an exemption for the new syllabus's FM subject, as 60+ marks are required. Generally, students may need to retake exams even after clearing parts of the old syllabus, with advice to contact the nearest branch or use e sahayata for definitive answers.

For exemption you need 60+ marks, so you have to give FM exam again.
@ Simran ,

Have you cleared group I under old syllabus?

Yes i have cleared under old syllabus

Generally you may have to write group II either in old or new syllabus. There may not be any relaxation. You can also get an answer through e sahayata
