There are certain topic excluded from CA Final syllabus for NOV'11 exam:
Paper 1: Financial Reporting
Topic - Inflation Accounting
Paper 5: Cost Accounting
Topic - 1) Time Series Analysis
2) Test of Hypothesis

Yes it is a good thing that they have excluded that again. I dont think in the next exam it will be excluded
ya ryt... CA Institute can do anything.. so better we use this opportunity.. :-)
IT IS A GOOD MOVE BY ICAI
The announcement made by the Institute says that these topics are excluded from november 2011 exams and THEREAFTER. This means that they are permamently deleted from the course
