Excise registration amendment
Hello Experts,
We are registered in Excise. We have our own premise. Now we have taken a lease premises exactly adjacent to our manufacturing factory. My query is can we bring that lease premises to our owned factory by amending excise registration?

As I understand, single registration is allowed for factories located in adjoining premises. So I think same registration certificate can be amended.

My doubt is can we have singal registraion for premises which will have both self ownership and leased one?
I think single registration would suffice as I have not come across any such restriction on ownership. Moreover, registration is possible for owned/leased premises.
