Is a franchise manufacturer under limit of 1.5cr needed to be registered under excise?
The parent company does not have a registered brand (but is a registered company) and the labels used in the product bears name of parent company and also name and address of the franchise.
Kindly suggest.
manufacturer producing goods on the brands used by others can not avail the SSI benefit of notification no 08/2003, he has to clear the goods on payment of duty only.
