I HV DONE A MISTAKE WHILE FILING ER 1 RETURN DURING THE MONTH OF AUG. IN ER 1 THE CENVAT FIGURE IS CORRECTLY MENTIONED BUT THE QUANTIY RECEIVED THIS AMOUNT HAS STATED IN CORRECT i.e LESS THAN ACTUAL QUANTITY.( SUPPOSE THE ACTUAL QUANTIY IS 100 TON IT IS STATED 50 TON IN ER 1 RETURN)
SO CAN I ADD THIS LESS QUANTIY IN FORTH COMING ER 1 RETURN IF I DO SO THE CENVAT AVAILED AMOUNT OF THE SAME MONTH WILL NOT TALLY.SO LET ME KNOW WHAT SHOULD I DO AT THIS STAGE.

1) take a printy out of ER riled
2) make a correction with pen
3) put a seal and signature on that specific correction space available and on the return last also
4) submit a letter to your Range Superintendent, with the refised form and get an dated aknowlwdement ofv the same, duly sealed and signed ,
he will submit it to IT cell for correction and within 7 days this will be displayed on your account .
