Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how to resolve an excess claim of Input Tax Credit (ITC) for the 2019-2020 financial year. The advice suggests comparing your GSTR-2A data with your account records to determine if ITC reversal is necessary. If you claimed ITC according to Section 16 provisions and have valid invoices, reversal might not be required. However, it's recommended to reverse any excess claimed ITC promptly, along with applicable interest, to prevent further charges.

If you have taken ITC as per the provision of section 16 then no need to reverse itc
Also prepare 2A Vs account data this may help you either go for revesal or not.. if bill not showing in 2A make sure that you have Invoices for the same

Thanks,

reverse the excess claimed itc with interest as soon as possible to avoid further interest.
