I had a problem in Excel 2003 , I am having fields of DATE, AND QUANTIY for doing max(B1:B30)OF QUANTITY it is showing result, but i want the result as Max(result) and where(which date) the maximum result in date field which is in (a1:a30). Pl give solution.

please tell me that how can i convert text into numbers & vice versa

like 500000 to five lakh &

five lakh to 500000

if there is any formula for this please tell me

If any body wants all excel short cuts, macros ( for converting numbers into text),  & many more etc in one File menu.

 Then please install ASAP Utilities from below Link

Step 1

Down load ASAP utilities

https://www.asap-utilities.com/download-asap-utilities.php

 Step 2 : Install the dowladed tools.

Step 3 : After Installation

Tools --> Add-Ins ---> Select ASAP utilities

Restart the PC, if ASAP tools are not working

Once installed start using it.

"Subtotals" is a quite comprehensive tool.

Please tell me your situation, and how this standard function is not helpful to you.

This can be done using the control buttons (+ and -) towards the left side of the window,

OR

simply copy the data, and use filter to show rows which contain subtotals, or some other criteria, and you can work on them.

If this dosent work for you, please let me know your issue in detail, or mail me your excel sheet.
