Import of goods data in IMS

Import of goods data available in Invoice management system facility, so Invoice management system action is mandatory OR optional ?

Quick Summary
Query on whether IMS action is mandatory for import data. Clarified it's optional (auto-accept by default) but recommended for accuracy. If already reflected in GSTR-2B and claimed in GSTR-3B, further action can generally be ignored.

While taking action in the IMS is not mandatory (as the system defaults to "Accept"), it is highly recommended for imports to ensure that only the correct, verified IGST reflects in your GSTR-2B. If the data from ICEGATE is 100% accurate and you have received the goods, you can safely let the system auto-accept them.

Data of 1 year of import of goods is being shown in IMS .It had already arrived in GSTR-2B and had also been claimed in GSTR3B.so is it unreasonable to now accept it OR ignored???
