To do well in theory first change your approach from mugging to understanding the concept. You must make it a habbit to keep reading which ever material in your hand in a very diligent matter. If you are not able to understand the contents in the first go make an effort to try reading once more. Repeated reading will aid you with clear understanding and proper interpretation. This can be achieved with continuous practice. All the very best.
