i am a metal scrap trader/Manufacturer registered in up
i buy metal scrap comprised of mix metals in different quantities.
i extract silver bullion in powder form from one of the metals and then make small bricks of raw silver and sell them to jewellers in the city or out of city but in the state. The buyer takes the silver bricks in raw form himself without any vehicle. The invoice value usually varies from 10 lacs to 50 lacs.
so my query is whether i have to generate eway bill or not ??
You have to generate e-way bill, if value of Tax Invoice exceeds Rs. 2 lakhs in case of gold, other precious metals as per new rule 138 F of CGST Rule, 2017.
