is it necessary to keep ewaybill print out attached to the tax invoice while while consignment is under delivery...or the ewaybill number written over the tax invoice is enough..please provide any evidence for this law if so

Printout of Eway bill is not mandatory if Eway bill number is mentioned in such invoice..

No, e-Way Bill print or even QR code is not mandatory to be carried out with the Invoice.

Only e-Way Bill number printed on Invoice is sufficient. Even having valid eWay Bill number in form of sms or eWay Bill number in any form is okay.

As per circular 41/15/2018, dt 13/04/2018
It's not Mandatory attach hard copy e-way Bill,

An e-way bill number may be available with the person
in charge of the conveyance or in the form of a printout, sms or it may be written on
an invoice. All these forms of having an e-way bill are valid

but when my consignment was under delivery...officials checked..and found my tax invoice is containing only ewaybill number..and hence asked bribe for 200₹...which my driver paid..since he don't want to make it hassale...

owner of the firm cannot go with consignment most of the time....the consignment are delivered by drivers and fellow person on the vehicle , and they are not much educated to deal with the situation....they simply give minimal amount to make the delivery hassel free..
