Dear Nikita,

The E-Way bill is just a document for movement of Goods apart from Invoice for transporter. In GST it is required for Goods having value of more than Rs. 50K. E-way bill contains mainly following informatiom:-

1. GSTIN of Recipient

2. Place of Delivery.

3. Invoice or Challan No. & Date

4. Value of Goods

5. HSN Code

6. Reason for Tranportation

7. Transport document no.

8. Vehicle No. 

The Date of appliacblity of E-Way bill is yet to come.
