I have wrongly added a challan and attached 23 entries in annexure -I to 24Q1 -2022-23, The challan pertains to FY 2021-22 and already attached to the 23 entries in the FY 2021-222 24Q4. Now i want to remove the entries attached in 24Q4. When I tried to correct the entries through offline mode, making the amount paid and tax coloumn as "zeros" the statemnt is rejected in the efiling. Through online correction also the same is rejected. How to resolve this issue.
Please explain in detail how to , remove the quoted challan and also remove the challan details in RPU
I have updated the file with ZERO VALUES IN TDS AND PAID AMOUNT for all the 23 entries in 24Q1-2022-23( which is to be deleted) and uploaded the 24Q1 CORRECTION STATEMENT. But it is rejected as the challan attached to it has nil balance( error displayed " validate for total amount of tax deposited".
Kindly guide me to solve the above issue as default has been raised for the challan amount
