Error while filing as representative

   • Full Name of the representative.

   • Complete Address of the representative.

   • Valid PAN or Aadhaar of the representative.

2. Make sure these details are filled exactly where the return form requires:

   • Sometimes these fields are in a separate section/tab for representative details.

   • Don’t just rely on the approval; you must manually enter these details in the return filing form.

3. Format and validity:

   • PAN must be valid and correctly formatted (10 alphanumeric characters).

   • Aadhaar, if used, must be a 12-digit number.

   • Address should be complete with state, pin code, etc.

4. Clear browser cache or try another browser:

   • Sometimes UI glitches cause data not to be saved properly.

5. If you are using offline utilities:

   • Make sure to update to the latest version of the utility.

   • Validate the JSON/XML file before uploading.

6. If you are filing on behalf of multiple representatives:

   • Ensure all representatives’ details are correctly entered.
