Yes its a great news to all CA students and its a very zeal thing and good feel to all the discouraging students too who are deciding to withdrew from CA.

Hi,

no doubt it is indeed a great news...but that will surly attract lesser companies(because PSU have strict package scale and they cannot alter it) and the campus placemnet ratio will be reduced because while paying a 50% hike the deserveing candidature will be attracted rest have to go through off campus at a lower package and there will be disparity among counter parts.
any ways it is a very very good news..

Its a very good news but how long will it take to implement, that is the main question. at present the scenario is totally different, the Big4 offer entry package to a CA is ranging between 5 to 6 lakhs and in the industry it is around 4 to 4.5 lakhs (except for rank holders).

Hope, icai will take this into account seriously.
