You are making an unnecessry mess out of it. It happens with everybody. Do the work as he say, not because you are his emplpyee or slave but bcoz you have to learn..

After becoming chartered all this will not be there, accept it as challenge.....
 behave in good manner one day ur boss will also say. yes you did ur job in very good manner....

OTHERWISE leave the course, thats it

and CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE, you are nothing just a ca final student and u r saying i will not do this and that, dear frnd, we have to do it thats it.............

Hope u will understand it in right manner otherwise dont create misunderstanding for me that i am giving advise to u. But i thing u are crying for small small things, just grown up, yaar, this is the article's life.

           First of all, i feel sorry for ur position. But dont worry. It happens to all. Since, this is a public forum, i m not in a position to explain what hinderances i faced when i did my training. But those nights, i never used to cry or feel bad. I only had the fire that i should complete my CA,and prove to the world that i also can survive on my own. This will be the case for all the members in CCI. Each time they face the hinderance, their fire to complete CA burns more and they work hard. I wish u to do the same and come out with flying colours. Dont feel bad for what hapenned to u.

            u said u r travelling for 4 hours. So, u can take ur notes and revise in the car or bus, while travelling. But dont lose ur confidence. Work hard and complete the profession. Then only u can prove to the world that u have knowledge. All the best for ur exams

Your boss is not the only mental, cheap, mannerless person!

My boss is worse, I'll tell you the things we CA Final students do in our office!

1. Type notes

2.  Do his personal work, like paying his personal bills, buying his groceries, carrying his books, shifting around his furniture in the office, dusting, even sweeping the office floor. (one girl has scrubbed the office floor)

3. The boys in my office have given him back massages.

4. On the top of that, he wants to eat half our lunch (that fat pig)

5. We also have had to make tea for him, we stoppped making tea for him and requested for the chaiwala to supply us tea for which we ourselves pay.

6. My NORMAL office timings are 9am - 6pm (he extends even these timigs,  saying "its my office, you will do what I tell you to do, otherwise, GET OUT RIGHT NOW") or he marks us absent for that day as "punishment" and cuts Rs. 50!!!! If I sit for 7 hrs, he cuts Rs. 25!!!

7. He has even removed the soap from the bathroom, coz "its not of any use to the office, since we use,we have to buy our own"

All this for Rs. 1500/-, no conveyence, no public holidays, we get our cheques after the 16th of the next month, he says he has no balance, when actually he earns in lakhs p.m.

If we refuse to do any of the above, he threatens us (all sorts of threats). The main problem I face is that our staff (articles) are not co-operative, Each fear for themselves. So I have to shut up. You must have heard "Sanghatan mein shakti hai, akele mein phat - ti hai". I can tell you a lot of horror stories, I can write a book!. The CA Institute takes the side of the CA's, whom can we complain to....?

WE ARE TREATED WORSE THAN SERVANTS AND THE INSTITUTE HAS MADE THINGS WORSE BY CANCELLING TRANSFERS! WE ARE TRAPPED.

All I can say to you is HANG IN THERE DUDE, Look at my condition and console yourself, you are much better off. All the best!!

Disha, I think this is the worst I'v read...How r u working there!  Notify the CA Institute yaar, no article student should work like this! You ppl are not slaves yaar!

@ Kundan - Ya! they should wear bangles and dance in front of him now! Such people encourage him by doing everything he says! Some of them seem to enjoy all this while the rest of us are frustrated!

@ Disha - I think v'll have to do that only now....lets c what he says wen v have to sign 108 after 20 days (3 of us)
