Employees' air / train tickets - gst itc

Dear Sirs,

Our employees travel a lot both domestic (witnin India) and overseas.

Case 1 : Our MD uses Jet Privilage card and most of his tickets are booked through his card and earns points (JP miles). The tickets submitted does not specify IGST/CGST/SGST. How GST is charged on passengers. How they classify whether Intra/Inter State?

Case 2 : Employees buy tickets of their own and then submit the tickets for reimbursement. How to claim ITC on such tickets.

Pl clarify me

ticket must be name company and your GST number mentionrd in ticket , than you are eligable for the same. because your input credit availed through ohtward supply return files by your service provider. if your GST Number not in outward supply of of your service provider. than you are not availed credit. in GST regime , Your input credit through electronic ledger. I advice you to send your quay to concern department for how yo book the ticket with your company name and your GST number with ticket.

Dear Mr Nitin,

Think that the ticket has space restriction and Company Name & address cannot be accomodated in tickets. if GSTIN printed on ticket is OK?

Should we avail input credit on flight tickets, or it comes under employees benefits

As input on conveyance like ola cannot be availed under employee benefits.

Kindly please guide.

I am sure that we can avail ITC provided the GSTIN details been uploaded to the flight operator's portal. Contrarily OLA comes under GTA and ofcourse we cannot claim ITC.
