In Karnataka Professional tax, if salary exceeds 15000 rupees then p.tax will be 200 rupees
Dear sourav thanks for ur response I need any no. of employees limit in PT act like in pf act viz., 20 employees to get register as deductor under PT act
No, there is no limit on number of employees
There are two registrations involved here: 1) PT enrollment certificate (PTEC) for the employer 2) PT registration certificate (PTRC) in order to deduct PT from employees. Even if a single person is employed with salary exceeding the limit, PTRC is required, subject to certain exemptions. Refer the link for more on exemptions: https://pt.kar.nic.in/(S(nmxlgucuxi4rgccmdbxnusza))/Downlods/UserManual_Em.pdf
Thank u so much sourav and poornima for ur valuable reply
