ELSS investment eligibility under 80C

Good Day everyone,

I have a query regarding ELSS investment made this year on 28th of March. So due to some reason the Net Asset Value applicable on this investment will be of 1st April but the amount was debited on 28th March. The order was accepted by the Fund House which means the amount has reached them and also they have started processing the order too today. So will this investment be eligible for 80C deduction this year or next FY?
I have checked articles online on this subject but have found only Fund houses sharing their opinion, found no opinion from a qualified CA. More clarity from the community will be much appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,
