Eligibility for CA Final Old Scheme

Hi, This is Shilpa. I'm a CA Final student doin my last 12 months of articleship. I belong to Old Final Scheme i.e., i have cleared my PE-II. I was supposed to write Postal Test Paper to become eligible for taking up my Final Exam in Nov-09. But the notification that was released in the month of Jan says we need not write the Postal Test Papers. Am i eligible to take up my exam this Nov-09 without wrting those test papers? Am i supposed to fulfill any other criteria to become eligible can anyone clarify. Please....
