Once the Goods moved out of country , The Shipping Carrier shall mandatory to file EGM , it's an Legal Requirements.
Hence it's an MAJOR reason to deprive of Refund Claim .
So approach your ICD/CHA to get it file.

Is d number written on airway bill s corner is EGM Ref No.?
You can search your shipping bill status on icegate . you will get EGM number
No, on shipping bill status only EGM date is visible. My question is what is EGM number? If Export is by Air, is Airway Bill No. EGM No.?
No it is not airway bill No. EGM is generated by the ICEGATE server
I just found out, EGM is required for vessels. SO its not applicable on export by Air i think. SO it should be just NA
Sorry need to correct above statement.
EGM is definitely there as its compulsory for all exports and imports. But d details arent in a document with exporters or cannot be downloaded as such. Its details can be viewed on icegate after logging in. So ask ur client exporter/importer to provide it to you after logging in, under job status.
