Recently there was a news that E1 Sales is stopped in Tamilnadu, and all the sale under E1 is being rejected, Is this claim true or still E1 sales (Sale in Transit) is allowed in Tamilnadu and other parts of india.

E-1 SALES COMES UNDER CST ACT, any changes in the said act will have effect on the whole ,as per my knowledge restricting E-1 sales cannot be possible for individual state VAT Act , any changes will reflect to the whole system. Unless until any new amendments comes from central under CST act ,effecting E-1 sales shall be continued ..
