e way bill for repair

Dear advisors

we are sending a material to Ahmedabad for repair purpose, the value of the material is 45000, now my doubt is, we want give Delivery challan or letter and whether we want to rise e way bill or not require.

kindly let me Know as soon as possible sir, Pls

No if the value of material is not exceeding 50 k there is no need of eway . Can send the material on Delivery challan.


But if its being send for Job work Then Eway is mandatory ,even though the value of Material is 1 rupee (As per Rule 138)

ok sir, but if we send to other state, then we want to rise Ewaybill or no need, if the value of the material is 45000.

As per Rule 138
Eway is mandatory only if the value of consignment exceeds 50k, & being moved or transported via motorised Conveyance

Hence the value of your material is less then 50k , thus you dont required to generate Eway.
