So many people informed that E-Way Bill for Intra State is only for Vehicle on Road purposes.

There is no necessary to keep records for GST Audit ----

Question: Its true ??? Realy its not required for GST Audit Purpose ??

you have to maintain record for eway bill... at the time of audit when your sales amout cross exemption limit then its compulsary to match that you generate way bill against it or not ..

Eway bill records needed to maintained in order to check whether all the of eway bill generated is shown in GSTR 1. If missing, explanation required for it.
